Congratulations Noor Al-Rawabdeh, Mohammad Abualnadi And Jordan FA On World Cup 2026 Qualification

Jordan made history when they secured their first-ever World Cup slot after defeating Oman 3-0 on 6 June.

Concluding the 2026 World Cup Qualifying campaign with 16 points from four wins, four draws, and two losses, Al-Nashama became the first Arab nation to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Selangor FC midfielder Noor Al-Rawabdeh made a successful return to the Jordanian squad in the 73rd minute of the match against Oman, after missing two matches due to an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury sustained in October 2024.

Noor expressed his gratitude for being back with the team for the third round of the World Cup Qualifiers, “Half of my ACL recovery took place in Jordan. Every day, I received words of encouragement from the supporters whenever they saw me. Their prayers and support have given me the strength to rejoin the team before the third round of the World Cup Qualifiers begins.”

When asked about his feelings on representing Jordan in the World Cup after five years of dedication to the national team, “This is more than a victory for us, it’s history made for our country and our people. They trusted us to raise the Jordanian flag on the world stage. We (Jordan FA) are united in fighting to fulfil the dreams of all Jordanians. I’m very thankful to everyone who believed in us especially the fans, my family, my fiancée, and Selangor FC, my second family who have always supported my journey. This is all for you.”

Additionally, Mohammad Abualnadi, Selangor FC’s import defender, is among the new Jordanian defenders who successfully completed 90 minutes in five matches during the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.

Abualnadi shared his gratitude for being part of the historic achievement, “Qualifying for the World Cup and being a member of the first Jordanian team to do so is truly special. Every player dreams of appearing on the World Cup stage, it feels like a dream come true. Moreover, creating history alongside such incredible teammates is an extraordinary experience. I am truly thankful for everyone’s support.”

Selangor FC extends heartfelt congratulations to Noor Al-Rawabdeh, Mohammad Abualnadi, and the entire Jordanian team for their efforts in securing Jordan’s place in the 2026 World Cup.
